Birch Class

The children move on to Birch class which has Year 2 and Year 3 children. Mrs Pimm and Mrs Brading, the class teachers, are supported by Mrs Pilton and at times volunteers from the local community. The learning in Birch class is fun, with lots of games and ICT to help the children practise their skills. The children begin to do the ‘Big Write’ in Birch class which is then carried on throughout the rest of the school as well as the continuing daily phonics session.
