Our Local Offer
Long Sutton aims to provide the best learning environment and opportunities for your child. We are an inclusive, Christian school who work with you as parents and a wide variety of the local community and outside professionals. This enables us to provide the best possible outcomes and experiences for each child within our school. We aim to provide individualised provision to best meet the needs of all our children and any additional educational, social, emotional or physical needs a child may have.
Who do I see if I am concerned about my child?
- Firstly see your child’s class teacher. You can arrange to speak to them at a convenient time for you both.
- You can also arrange to speak and meet with the SENCO (Mrs Moseley) or the Headteacher (Mrs Reynolds). This can be arranged through the school office.
A reminder that you can find information on our local offer (SEN information report) below, or as a paper copy in the front office. This will hopefully answer some FAQs.

Somerset Graduated Response Tool
Quality first teaching underpins all educational provision. It focuses on inclusive practice and breaks down barriers to learning. For the majority of children this can be achieved by identifying specific barriers, followed by personalisation and differentiation using strategies as identified in the Somerset Graduated Response Tool. The Somerset Graduated Response Tool breaks down SEN into four broad areas of need. This targets specific support for teachers to plan and for any interventions to take place. Further support
Our PFSA (Parent and Family Support Advisor) is Victoria Gould. Referrals for support are made through the SENCo or Headteacher.
